Hello everybunny!♥ I hope you're well and enjoying winter♪ Today I'm super excited to finally present another Flappie style post!♥ When I was in Tokyo, I went to a store called 'Axes Femme' it's a gorgeous brand, and there were so many pieces that would be perfect for flappie style, so I picked up a few!♥♥ They were also playing electro swing in there, which was amazing.♪ I also bought a Jesus Diamante dress secondhand recently as well, it's gorgeous, but sadly a bit too big. I wouldn't want to spend so much money on a new one (the one I got was originally around 56,000yen I believe) so I'm really happy I found one secondhand!♥ I hope you like the outfits in this post.♥

I was so happy when the dress arrived, it's gorgeous!♥ There are roses printed onto the chiffon fabric, and I love roses so very much. ; v ; I think this outfit is suuuuuper flappie!♥ There are a lot of hime style elements.♪ Maybe one day I'll get a hime style wig and make a hime gyaru coord with this dress!♥♥ I've had the dress for a while now, but sadly the faux fur shawl took a while to arrive. ;;
This faux fur jacket matches it well, so it'd be cute to match with the dress if I ever wear it out somewhere.^^♥
I quite like how it looks even without the shawl or jacket.^^ I don't usually like wearing garments with straps or things like vest tops, but I think this looks okay on me.♪

When I was in Tokyo, I wore this dress out one day.♪ It was really nice & light to wear in the summer heat.^^ Tokyo was incredibly humid, so wearing flowy clothes was the way to go! This was the first of the dresses that I bought, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it! ; 7 ;♥
I'm so glad I bought this shawl to go with it.♥ It's a lovely creamy gold colour, and it sparkles a little! I'd like to get some fancier tights to go with my flappie dresses, maybe lacier ones.♪ Perhaps also some fancier shoes too.^^ I love the detail along the bottom of the dress, it's so pretty and it also adds some puff!
The cardi I bought from Bobon21 matches it all really well too!♥ The details on it are gorgeous, I'll post more about it in my next Bobon21 haul post, which will be huge!♥♥ It works really well with my flappie pieces because the lacy design is quite art deco style.♪
The shape of the cardi is perfect! It sits so nicely over the dress.♥ I should probably take a moment to mention that a while back, someone asked me how to make flappie style more flattering, but the answer is... you don't!♪ The point of the style isn't to be flattering, the whole flapper thing was to rebel against the idea that women should wear flattering things like corsets and bustles! :D It's one of the few fashions that doesn't make me feel bad for having no chest, as it's about having a boyish shape (dresses with no shaping at all), but being frilly & lacy.♪ Honestly, it makes me so happy! ; 7 ; Like it helps me to embrace my weird body shape haha. Of course, if you have a bust, that doesn't mean you can't wear flapper or flappie style!

This dress is one that I bought in a seperate shopping trip to the one above and below, I went back to Axes Femme on a seperate occasion for more www♥♥ I think it's more of what people would usually associate with 'flapper' given the lines of lace, but without having layers of tacky fringes or being the generic colour schemes that flapper dresses seem to be in.. (I love wearing cream ; 7 ;♥)
It's really soft & comfy to wear, like the other pieces! So if I ever go out, it'll be comfy to dance (badly) in. ;; 7 ;; ♥ I also wear shorts underneath my flappie dresses, since they're quite short and it's cold at the moment. Though of course for flappers, immodesty was a key point, with rolled down stockings (so the tops were visible, oh my! ww) and above knee dresses haha.♪♪
Without the shawl it looks cute too!♥ But... personally I prefer it with the shawl. ; 7 ;
Flappie makeup!♥ Rosy blusher, bronze eyeshadow, big false lashes, and eyeliner.♪ To make it less princessy and more flapper, I could use some eyeliner along the bottom of my eyes and a set of bottom lashes, along with more blush.♪
Acessories are plenty of pearly necklaces, a pearly headdress, plus two big flower clips.♥ Big earrings would be pretty too.♪

I think this is more of a long top, and I'd usually wear it that way along with some cute chinos and a chemise underneath, but this is a flappie style post so it doesn't matter how see-through or short it is! :D ♪♪(I did wear short shorts though, they some new ones I got from Bobon21♪) To combat some of the see-throughness, the detachable sailor collar adds an extra layer ww.♪
As it's quite a plain piece in comparison with the others, it works for more of a casual flappie outfit.♪ I didn't use so many accessories with this coord. c:
Thank you so much for reading!♥♥ I hope you enjoyed this flappie style post!♪ I'm not sure when I'll have new flappie outfits, I haven't seen many nice pieces that stood out to me since I was in Japan. ;c Maybe when I go again next May I'll find more ww♥(Yes, I'm going again! I'm planning it all at the moment www♪♪)
I hope you have a swell evening, cool cats!♪
Love, Eliza♥
